CHESTER CT (October 2017) – When it comes to learning injection molding there’s no better way to learn than hands-on at the machine. And can you imagine learning on a brand new top-of-the line ARBURG? And, in a pristine state-of-the-art facility? No need to dream. That’s exactly the experience attendees of a Paulson Plastics Academy seminar will have when they register for a ProMolder™ injection molding seminar held at one of ARBURG’s three North American locations. And, this October marks the one-year anniversary of this winning partnership.
“Having our seminars at ARBURG has been and continues to be extremely successful. It brings our content to life with each cycle of their highly precise machines,” said Craig Paulson, president of Paulson Training. Adding, “A big bonus to our collaboration is that our seminar attendees not only have expert Paulson instructors at their side but also have access to ARBURG’s highly skilled technicians who are extremely enthusiastic and a pleasure to work with.”
In addition, Paulson gives a nod to SPE for their part in connecting the two companies. Paulson and SPE have a partnership of their own working together to bring more value for SPE members and those within the plastics industry as a whole.
“This has been a great collaboration with our two companies. The Paulson team is highly professional and keeps our staff on their toes with their impressive challenging curriculum and we feel it’s been beneficial for us in that we have attendees from diverse companies trying out our machines, “ remarked Trevor Pruden, Engineering Manager for ARBURG.
ARBURG has three state-of-the art facilities in the US including Elgin, IL in the Chicago area, Irvine, Calif. and their main North American headquarters in Rocky Hill, CT. Each facility has classrooms to accommodate more than 30 attendees. The ultra modern light-filled space houses ARBURG’s newest machinery used in Paulson’s hands-on learning portion of the seminars. While ARBURG has the capacity to hold larger classes, and does for their own purposes, Paulson seminars are limited to smaller sizes for a more personable, intense learning experience.
Paulson offers three levels of injection molding Certification training, ProMolder 1™, ProMolder 2™ and the most advanced certification level, ProMolder 3™. Hosting the ProMolder series at ARBURG offers attendees a powerful training experience that combines classroom instruction with hands-on learning at the machines.
While Paulson also holds seminars in other equally strong technical facilities,
ARBURG and Paulson will continue their partnership through 2018. For more
