CHESTER, CT (August 2016) — Maybe you know a little something about injection molding but do you know the “why” behind injection molding? Paulson’s brand new, highest-level certification seminar, ProMolder 3, will teach you the why and more. This rigorous, hands-on, certification course features 20+ hours of machine time and time with Paulson’s SimTech™, the industry leading injection molding simulator, that will prepare graduates to confidently make production floor decisions and become key production personnel. Paulson’s ProMolder 3 seminar is a completely immersive learning experience given in five days at Paulson’s state-of-the-art Technical Center in Tampa, FL.

“ProMolder 3 is our highest possible certification level,” explained Craig Paulson, president of Paulson Training Programs in Chester, CT.

“We really get into the science of injection molding focusing on the four basic variables as they interact with the machine controls, this course will take you to the next level in truly understanding molding from the scientific perspective.”

Graduates of Paulson’s ProMolder 1 & 2 or those that successfully complete the equivalent Paulson CD/DVD or web-based training meet the requirement to enroll in Paulson’s newest seminar. The course begins with a review of ProMolder 2 and covers key concepts including:

  • Advanced, four plastic variables analysis of part properties and the machine solutions
  • Practical hands-on application experience in machine settings
  • Establishing UCL and LCL and trend analysis and more.

Paulson’s ProMolder 3 is one of six courses being offered by Paulson’s Plastics Academy and is considered the definitive in injection molding training, given the amount of machine time involved. Classes are available for 2016 and a full offering is included for 2017.

Paulson Training Programs, Inc., is the leading provider of technical training for the plastics industry. All of the Paulson programs are based on the Paulson Method, a logical step-by-step approach that teaches processing from the “plastics point of view,” a term coined by Donald C. Paulson well over 40 years ago; and builds processing knowledge by focusing on the four variables that control the molding process: heat, flow, pressure and cooling.

Paulson training programs are currently in use by thousands of plastics processors and over a hundred colleges and universities worldwide. Paulson’s philosophy of investing in people, not just machinery, has become a proven model of success.
