Because we visit you, talk to your key personnel and find out exactly what training your employees need to maximize productivity and ROI.

2. We deliver personalized attention to all our customers.

With only a handful of exceptions, every one of our 5,000 plastics processing customers over the past 35 years has had a personal visit from a Paulson certified training and processing expert. Why do we go to these lengths? Because customer success is our only measure of success.

3. We help you customize your training or customize it for you.

We provide you with the tools you need to customize your interactive plastics training program – make it your own. You can do it yourself, or we can do it for you. Either way, your customized training program becomes much more effective.

4. Training Implementation Assurance Plan.

We have gone to great lengths (and expense) to make sure our technical support is second to none. We have numerous online videos in the tech support area of our website that address the most common questions and issues customers have. Don’t see what you’re looking for? Call us. We’ll either fix it over the phone or make you a step-by-step video so you can walk through the fix yourself.

5. Customized curriculum developed based on interviews with your team.

The training curriculum we create together during our visit to your plant will be closely monitored. With 35 years of exclusively plastics industry training experience, we’ve gotten to the point where we see potential problem areas as they relate to training implementation well before they impact your training initiative. By working closely with your assigned personnel, we eliminate any problems early and fast. And if you follow the step-by-step customized training plan we jointly develop, problems should be few.

6. Before purchase attention and after purchase success guarantee.

Our staff of processing and training experts are available to you before and after purchase. There are no winners when training goes wrong. And there is no reason that it should. That’s why the best in the business partner with Paulson. They know our obsession with results. Customer success is our only measure of success.

7. State-of-the-art training content and visual presentation.

Your company’s training program stays current with the changing plastics processing technology. Courseware upgrades are important. New machinery, new controls and the ability to more closely control the process all need to be taught. We upgrade our courses to make sure that they are visually up-to-date and the content teaches new technical breakthroughs or techniques.

8. Creator of the industry standard “4 variables” & “from the plastics point of view” teaching method.

Paulson’s “processing from the plastics point of view” is an industry standard. Physics doesn’t change over time. That’s why our “4 processing variables” and “processing from the plastics point of view” training, which Don Paulson discovered and started teaching in the early 1970’s, has stood the test of time. There is a long list of trainers who have adopted our approach. In fact, it is now taught by most trainers in the plastics industry. What Paulson created 40 years ago is now the de-facto standard for all types of plastics training. If you’re going to approach your process “from the plastic’s point of view”, learn it from Paulson.

9. The Paulson Plastics Academy (PPA) and Paulson Certification.

The PPA is the division of Paulson Training that gives on-site, hands-on training. We come to your plant for 3-5 day seminars and also have a schedule of seminars that we present around the country at convenient locations. As part of PPA, we provide a rigorous certification process. To maintain its integrity, it is not enough to just have the money and desire to want to get Paulson Certified. You need to qualify to enroll in our various levels of certification. Paulson Molder 1 is open to everyone. But just to attend Paulson Molder 2, you must qualify through our testing, and we turn plenty of people away. They’re not ready. Paulson Molder 3, the same. The tests are more difficult, but the credential is a powerful one to have and well worth the effort.

10. Paulson is your training partner.

Our training specialists are traveling constantly, consulting with customers-to-be and checking in on current customers. While we won’t force our way in to your plant, we do encourage you to invite us in 2, 3, 4 times a year to make sure your training is on-track.

What keeps us up at night? A purchased training program sitting on a shelf, or a purchased training program that did not “succeed.” Success is assured 100% of the time if you partner with us and put our global expertise to work.
