ProMolder 1 Package— Price:$545 [Web-based training]
Quickly make new and entry level employees part of your production team with training in the fundamental elements of safe, efficient molding. Quality, safety and profit all start with employees on the production floor, but their training may not get the attention it deserves. ProMolder 1 level courses are typically appropriate for entry-level personnel – operators, set up, part handlers, maintenance and technicians. ProMolder 1 is also effective as a refresher course for veteran employees and as a method of employee job screening.
The series content includes molding machine parts and operation, operator responsibilities, mold types, the nature of plastics, safe practices, identifying part defects, and machine operation. The SkillBuilder portion is a unique program available only from Paulson Training Programs, and features a fully functioning injection molding machine simulator with amazing realism through 3-D graphics. Complete molding animation and sounds just like you experience on the production floor! Also available in Spanish.

ProMolder 2 Package— Price:$995 [Web-based training]
Increase productivity and reduce rejects through better control of the molding process. This program teaches the "hows and whys" of injection molding improvements with specific rules, procedures and explanations for controlling the plastic, optimizing machine control settings, and improving machine operation. Increase productivity, reduce rejects, and ultimately have better control of the injection molding process.
Next, train production personnel, supervisors and managers to understand the molding process at their “need to know” level. Your new process-capable production team will: exercise greater control over the molding process; reduce rejects and scrap; improve part quality; and increase productivity. Step “inside” the mold to visualize the process as graphic animation reveals the machine and plastic behavior during the molding process. Learn the “what”, “why” and “how” of injection molding technology! Also available in Spanish.

Lean Manufacturing — Price $149 [Web-based training]
Kai zen, kanban and poka-yoke. These may sound like the latest herbal teas or the hottest new Wii games, but the terms are actually some of the lean manufacturing tools used to solve the problem of waste. Lean is focused on getting it right — the right things to the right place at the right time and in the right quantity, while being flexible and minimizing waste. These concepts must be understood and embraced by the employees who build the products; they own the process.
This series will uncover what lean is, examine the philosophy’s principles, point out the benefits to your own business, apply the technique of value-stream mapping, reveal what implementation techniques must be in place to become lean, and demonstrate how to make the transition go smoothly. Through Paulson’s bundle of five lean manufacturing courses — Logic, Value, Techniques, Strategies and a Final Exam — employees will embrace the philosophy and culture of lean, create outstanding results, and improve your bottom line.

Harassment Series (Individual and Manager) — Price:$149 [Web-based training]
Between 40 and 70 percent of women and 10 to 20 percent of men have experienced sexual harassment in the workplace according to studies. Each year roughly 15,000 sexual harassment cases are brought to the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission (EEOC). According to the EEOC, the number of complaints filed by men has more than tripled.
A 1999 survey by the Society for Human Resource Management states that 97 percent of companies have a written sexual harassment policy, yet only 62 percent offer sexual harassment prevention training programs. Not only is harassment in the workplace unlawful, it is costly.
This series will help your company express its commitment to a fair, responsible, and healthy organizational environment, as well as demonstrate how to prevent and confront workplace harassment. It also offers advice should you find yourself involved in an incidence of harassment. Helping employees at all levels to recognize sexual harassing behaviors can maintain a professional work environment and reduce liability. A small investment in training can have a considerable impact on employees’ lives and the reputation of the company to the outside world.

Safety — General — Price:$249 [Web-based training]
Workplace safety protects your company’s most valuable asset — your workers. It prevents injury and illness and, by protecting the employees’ and volunteers’ well-being, reduces the amount of money paid out in health insurance benefits, workers’ compensation benefits, and the cost of wages for temporary help. Also factor in saving the cost of lost-work hours, time spent in orienting those who pick up the absent workers’ share or, worst case, having to suspend projects, and safety becomes a real and quantifiable investment. This series covers a wide array of safety issues — from electrical to hearing to industrial and office ergonomics. Keeping your employees safe — it’s for your workers and for you.

First Aid— Price:$124 [Web-based training]
One of OSHA’s requirements is that employees be given a safe and healthy workplace that is reasonably free of occupational hazards. However, accidents are going to happen. Therefore, employers are required to provide first aid and medical supplies and personnel in line with the workplace hazards. First aid refers to medical attention which is usually administered immediately after the injury occurs and where it occurred. First aid can include cleaning cuts, scrapes, or scratches; treating burns; the use of non-prescription medicine; drinking fluids to relieve heat stress; and so on.
In five courses, learn what’s needed to handle accidents — from the most basic all the way up to medical emergencies. You will learn the right way to eliminate or minimize the potential for injury from workplace hazards. The series will also cover proper use of the Automated External Defibrillator, basic first aid, CPR, handling medical emergencies, and bloodborne pathogens.
