INJECTION MOLDING TRAINING

SIMTECH2005

Injection molding simulation in only available from Paulson Training Programs. Increase the number of molding experts in your facility through simulation training. SimTech 2005 can evaluate changes in the molding process that would take hours or even days to do on an actual molding machine.

SimTech 2005 is the first molding simulator that calculates plastic flow, pressures, temperatures and molded part results starting at the hopper and ending in the mold. Over 50 million calculations of 90 process variables are involved.

SimTech 2005 Includes:
• SimTech software program on a compact disk.
• Workbook(s) containing molding lessons that is also a tutorial to learn the operation of SimTech.

SimTech 2005 is an injection molding process simulator that has:
• 23 operating machine controls, including vpt.
• 15 outputs for plastic temperatures, fill time, cycle time, cushion size, pressures and pressure losses in the mold, flow distance, part shrinkage, part weight, screw run time.
• A window that shows mold machine and plastic problems caused by the setup.
• Graphs of plastic pressures and temperatures in the runner, gate and mold.
• Optional inputs and outputs using US or SI (metric units).
• Screw, barrel, shot size and clamp data for up to 20 molding machines.
• Cavity size, number of cavities, gate and runner dimensions for to 20 molds.
• Plastics data for up to 20 plastics.
• Run from 1 to 4 cycles at a time using various machine control settings.

Applications:
Off-the-production-floor experience in machine/mold setup, operation and problem solving by computer simulation.

Who Should Use SimTech?
• Setup personnel, foreman, process engineers who want to become expert in the molding process.
• Experienced molders who would benefit from knowing the effects of each machine control when using different molds and plastics.
• Personnel who want to quickly learn control settings and molded part problem solving.

Benefits of Using SimTech Simulation to Mold Parts
Personnel can practice molding without tying up a molding machine.

SimTech allows users to learn the effects of each machine controls to:
• Solve molding problems.
• Show the effects of each machine control on the molded parts.
• Evaluate proposed mold design changes.
• Evaluate the effects of plastic selection.
• The molding plant's machines, molds and plastics can be molded.
