Passed ProMolder 1 or 75% or better on SkillCheck Level 1 and 60% or better on SkillCheck Level 2.

Experienced molding technicians and molding engineers who want to achieve a higher level of expertise and can take complete responsibility for setup, operations and troubleshooting.
Certification Description
This level of certification utilizes 40% classroom and 60% SimTech 2005. This program is designed to develop injection molding processors’ expertise, their ability to optimize cycles, and analyze and solve molding problems, and have a deep understanding of cavity pressure and graphical interpretation of the molding cycle. Over 20 lessons on process and part defect troubleshooting will be covered using SimTech 2005.

Attendees must apply techniques learned from ProMolder 1 Level Certification to all simulation lessons. As part of certification, attendees must pass numerous written tests and solve multiple process problems using simulations that have defect and dimensional issues. Certified attendees will experience the equivalent of hundreds of production hours in optimizing processes.
