Passed ProMolder 1 or 75% or better on SkillCheck Level 1 and 60% or better on SkillCheck Level 2.

Experienced molding technicians and molding engineers who want to achieve a higher level of expertise and can take complete responsibility for setup, operations and troubleshooting.
Course Summary:
ProMolder 2 combines classroom instruction with hands-on learning by conducting 50% of the class on the shop floor. The emphasis of this program is to establish solid molding practices and understanding of set-up, optimizing cycles and analyzing molding problems. Attendees must apply these techniques by developing robust processes using screw based VPT techniques. Graduates of this program will have a greater understanding of plastic behavior in the machine and mold and gain greater knowledge of the effects of each machine control. Valuable hands-on experience will be gained in developing robust processes for actual molding jobs using proven scientific based solutions.
