Passed Promolder 2 or 80% or better on SkillCheck Level 1, 70% or better on SkillCheck Level 2, and 60% or better on SkillCheck Level 3.

Certification Description
Combining 50% classroom learning with 50% machine time, attendees continue to increase their molding expertise with emphasis on implementing VPT using cavity pressure and temperature techniques. This level of certification is designed for attendees who want to achieve a higher level of technical expertise in injection molding.

Attendees must apply these techniques to developing robust processes using cavity pressure and temperature VPT techniques. As part of certification, attendees must pass multiple machine and written tests. Certified attendees will gain the knowledge necessary to implement cavity pressure and temperature VPT techniques in their facilities. Attendees will also have a solid understanding of part breakage, developing universal processing parameters, hot runner technology, process control and process monitoring using injection mold instrumentation.
