About Larry: Larry Mercugliano has a broad background in plastics processing. In the 1970s and 80s, he was a Vice President at Control Process Inc., a company founded by Don Paulson which manufactured closed-loop molding machine controllers and monitoring equipment. From there Larry managed the West Coast and East Coast for ITP of Boston. He launched his own company, LM Technologies, which started as a rep agency selling high-tech molding solutions and then became a purveyor of used equipment throughout the world. He has also run auctions and even bought a record company. Larry joined Paulson in 2000. A proficient sailor, he has sailed the waters of Nantucket, Martha’s Vineyard and Long Island Sound for 25 years. While Larry has shot .22s and .45s in target shooting competitions, single-handed sailing is Larry’s most significant accomplishment.

Greeting or Introduction Message From Larry: What I bring to the table when I’m talking to a customer is an understanding of every piece of equipment you will need at the facility — what you’ll need, what size you’ll need, and what auxiliary equipment you’ll need — because I can spec it all out. I understand what your needs are and can tell you so you know what your needs are.
Secondly, I understand Paulson’s products and I understand what your goals are. I can tell you what specific training tools you would need to start off depending upon who you’re going to put through the school.
Third, when I first graduated from college, I taught business law, marketing, introduction to automated accounting (computers), and mathematics. My background as an educator allows me to relate the appropriate training product and how it should be applied to assist you. I’m more than just a sales person.
