Custom Molder and Moldmaker — in business since 1953, seven facilities, approximately 450 employees, 125 injection molding machines up to 350 tons — custom molds small to mid-size parts for the automotive, appliance, computer, and medical industries.

With seven facilities (four in the U.S., two in Mexico, and one in Singapore) molding parts for a variety of industries, UFE set out to improve productivity by training its employees company-wide. With a goal of training all employees to insure consistency at all locations, the company has purchased and implemented almost all of Paulson Training’s injection molding programs. With its “Training-by-Position” program, every employee at the company is required to take the training classes and pass the tests – and that means everyone, including the CEO.
